The brain of depraved shooter Shane Tamura could possibly be tested for chronic traumatic encephalopathy during an examination of his body, Mayor Eric Adams said Tuesday.

The guard had been fatally shot as he crouched behind a desk to take cover as the gunman sprayed the building’s lobby with bullets, police said.

Shane Tamura, 27, is the suspect alleged to have shot and killed four victims while wounding an NFL employee. Tamura then fatally wounded himself. Further investigation into the shooting revealed that Tamura was targeting the NFL's offices, but "appeared to have gone to the wrong floor" in the 44-story skyscraper.
