Askarov was making his third start of the season for the Sharks. In his two NHL games this year, against the St. Louis Blues and Los Angeles Kings, Askarov was 1-0-1 with a .927 save percentage. In his first win for the Sharks on Nov. 25, Askarov stopped 22 of 24 shots as San Jose beat Los Angeles 7-2 at SAP Center.

The Oilers are getting pretty good at this. It took them all 60 minutes of regulation and more, but they managed to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat yet again this afternoon against the San Jose Sharks. The result was their second 3-2 comeback overtime win in the past three days.

Mattias Ekholm tied the game with 18 seconds left in regulation before teammate Leon Draisaitl scored 18 seconds into overtime to lift the Edmonton Oilers to a 3-2 win against the visiting San Jose Sharks on Saturday afternoon.
