Turnovers aside, Indiana turned in one of its strongest performances of the season. The Hoosiers shot 9-17 (52.9%) from deep, led by the trio of Garzon, Ciezki, and Parrish, who had 16 points each and all shot over 50% from behind the arc in the win. Garzon had a game-high 11 rebounds.

Indiana women's basketball had struggled with Ohio State's press for years. The Hoosiers finally broke through Thursday night.

The Hoosiers matched the Buckeyes shot for shot to open the game, and broke the patented Ohio State press and avoided a dreaded collapse.
