Two people were injured after a plane crash in Lake County on Sunday, according to the Lake County Sheriff's Office. The plane went down on the downtown Tavares side of Lake Dora around 2:10 p.m. with two people on board, officials said. There are no details on what prompted the crash. However, officials said both occupants escaped.

One occupant received minor injuries and another was transported to the hospital for facial injuries, according to deputies.
