After a calm night in downtown Los Angeles, Mayor Karen Bass is trimming the hours of a curfew. The curfew was imposed last week after days of protests and looting that followed President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown.

The hours of the downtown Los Angeles curfew, which has been in effect since last week due to persistent protests against immigration raids, will change starting Monday night to 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., according to Mayor Karen Bass.

The curfew, which was imposed after people broke into businesses and vandalized properties, will be discussed by the City Council.
