A driver was shot and killed by law enforcement officers after driving a trucking into the Killeen Mall Saturday night, injuring at least five people, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The police said the man was being investigated for possible drunken driving but instead of stopping, he smashed his pickup truck into a J.C. Penney.

The suspect drove through the doors of a JCPenny in Killeen, Texas, and continued inside for "several hundred yards," an official said.
