Nearly three weeks after devastating floods tore through the Hill Country, residents in Kerr County say recovery efforts are moving too slowly — and they’re still surrounded by debris, destruction and uncertainty.

The Dallas entrepreneur is teaming up with local groups to support victims and first responders after deadly Central Texas flooding.

The body of a woman who was missing in the devastating July 4 floods has been found, according to Gov. Greg Abbott. Abbott said Task Force 1 — one of the search teams deployed in response — recovered the body in the Kerrville area. He announced the discovery in a post on X at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday.

Greg Abbott said the number of missing persons in Kerr County has in now two — a girl from Camp Mystic and an adult male—after the body of a missing adult woman was recovered in Kerrville on Tuesday, bringing the total number of victims recovered in Kerr County to 108 (71 adults, 37 children).

Three volunteers from Remnant Ministries of Marshall went to Kerr County to assist in the ongoing flood recovery.
