Between both backfields, the Jets have some injuries to monitor. On offense, running backs Breece Hall (knee) and rookie Braelon Allen (back) are both in a grey area early this week. Defensively, cornerbacks DJ Reed (groin) and Michael Carter II (back) have similar statuses.

The New York Jets will hope to stay in the win column again in Week 16 after beating the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. The Jets (4-10) got a huge effort from wide receiver Davante Adams in that 32-25 win over the Jaguars (3-11).

To claim the victory, the Jets leaned heavily on receiver Davante Adams and he paid it back. Adams’ nine catches and 198 yards was impressive. He added two touchdowns and the first of those was good for the 100th of his NFL career.

Davante Adams made his presence known on the field in Sunday’s Jets win over the Jaguars. But quarterback Aaron Rodgers said Adams’ biggest contribution to the Jets since the October trade with the Raiders has come on the practice field.
