New North Carolina coach Bill Belichick turned to a familiar part of the country to add his first commitment from the transfer portal Monday. Holy Cross offensive lineman Christo Kelly announced he was committed to the Tar Heels in a post on X.

Bill Belichick and the UNC football program have now secured three commitments out of the transfer portal. Since arriving at UNC last week, Belichick and the program have been working hard with visits and getting recruits on campus.
