Ted Cruz made an unreciprocated show of affection for Sydney Sweeney Wednesday in the form of a quite opinionated “fact check.” The Texas senator and married father of two—who was called “thirsty” by California congressman Eric Swalwell for an earlier post about the “beautiful” 27-year-old Euphoria actress—commented on Sweeney’s appearance while slamming liberals.

Cruz reposted a photo of Sweeney sensually lying on her stomach, half naked, as her blonde hair falls in waves over her nude chest. She wears tight-fitting American Eagle jeans for the new fashion campaign, which has sparked accusations of racial undertones in its messaging.
