The Carbondale & Rural Fire Protection District called for an evacuation of the Panorama subdivision and areas east of County Road 100 to Upper Cattle Creek Road.

The Garfield County Sheriff's Office has issued an evacuation order for an area northeast of Carbondale due to a new wildfire Sunday afternoon.

The Ranch at Coulter Creek fire sparked near a Carbondale subdivision Sunday morning, north of Panorama Drive, and prompted mandatory evacuations, fire officials said.
