Residents and businesses were evacuated from a downtown Aurora building Saturday evening after part of it partially collapsed, according to the Aurora Police and Fire Departments.

Residents were directed to evacuate a building in downtown Aurora on Saturday evening after bricks began falling off the façade, authorities said.

Aurora police said part of the building's brick facade started crumbling and falling onto the street and sidewalk.
