The state of Minnesota is entering another in a long string of summer days marred by air quality alerts. Poor air quality will continue through Saturday with lingering wildfire smoke from Canada.

Air quality warnings covering the whole state are expected to remain in place through Saturday due to Canadian wildfire smoke.

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) has issued an AIR QUALITY ALERT for all of Minnesota until late Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, the Iowa DNR has issued an AIR QUALITY ALERT for all of Iowa through Friday night.
