John Krasinski is officially returning to the franchise that catapulted him to A-list director status. Krasinski will write and direct A Quiet Place Part III, with Paramount setting a summer release date of July 9, 2027.

A long seven years after the second installment, the ‘Quiet Place’ franchise is finally going loud again. Late yesterday, John Krasinski announced that the belated “A Quiet Place” post-apocalyptic horror/family series will return in 2027.

Shhhh. John Krasinski is returning as the director, writer and producer of “A Quiet Place Part III.” The cast is not confirmed at this time, so it’s unclear if Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds who co-starred with Krasinski in the first film will return.
