The Indiana Pacers lost their first 2025 NBA playoff game on Friday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse with Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark in attendance. After going 8-0 during this NBA playoff run with Clark supporting the team, the Pacers dropped Game 4 of the NBA Finals to the Oklahoma City Thunder to tie the series up at 2-2.
The Oklahoma City Thunder is headed home with an even series in the NBA Finals, fresh off winning the most important fourth quarter of its season.
The Pacers scored just 17 points in the fourth quarter during their Game 4 loss to the Thunder Friday. The Indiana Pacers fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder 111-104 in Game 4 of the NBA Finals Friday night, which evened the series at two games apiece as it heads back to Oklahoma.
However, what won the 68 games and got them to the Finals was their defense, and the Pacers torched that for a long stretch of Game 3. Indiana took better shots and capitalized on them, finishing with a 116 offensive rating (9.5 points higher than the Thunder allowed on average during the playoffs coming into the game).
