Four new cases of measles connected to the West Texas outbreak were reported in Tuesday's update from the Texas Department of State Health Services. 742 cases have been identified since the outbreak started in January.

Across the U.S., there are 1,024 confirmed measles cases as of Friday. Texas still accounts for the vast majority of cases. There are three other major outbreaks in North America.
