This park is very large and quite near the suburban development around this big and growing city. Lots of places to hike and make a picnic and just enjoy the outdoors. Beware hot weather. Full review by Thomas V

No swimming. The lagoon for swimming is fenced off. They let dogs swim on the weekends for 2-3 weeks. The lake is not good for swimming. So, dont plan to swim in the lake or lagoon …

Not the place for seeing blossoming trees. You might try Annadel State Park which has hiking trails and wildflowers.
