How much unpaved road would we need to traverse to get to the landing? We'll be on Harleys, which aren't particularly dirt-road friendly. If we ride to the end of the paved portion, would we be able to walk the rest of the way? About how much farther (miles)?

The water's edge is a couple hundred yard walk from the pavement. There is another cove area about 1.5 miles further along a winding dirt road. The gravel is loose and very washboard-like for the most part. I would not take the Harleys on it. The area is a nice place to ride and check out the scenery.
